After the other Welch kiddos left on Friday the girls decided they wanted to play Pet Shop.
Later on in the afternoon I let them WALK to Food Lion for a snack. They brought my cell phone in case they needed help with anything but never called. It's a mile away and took WAY longer than I thought it should but I trusted them and as I was about to go searching :) they came up the street.
(For snack they chose candy bars and sodas:)
That evening was Cailey's soccer pool/pizza party. The girls were excited about it!
OH kinsey:( She got some BAD boo boos while Laura and I were out getting things for the camp care packages. We came right home and Nurse Laura fixed her right up. These were BAD BAD...and had to be cared for a lot b/c of infection.
I just had to get a picture of this set up because it's precious. Daddy helping Kinsey and holding the IPAD for her while Nurse Laura fixed her up and mommy ran from the blood :).
We had our May visit with the Welch's at the pool! It had been SUPER HOT everyday that week but that day it was freezing!! Laura and I were covered in towels..lol! After a little while in the water Samuel and Ephram came out for warmth as well.
these guys were totally fine and had a BLAST
matchy girls on the indoor kiddie slide
We headed inside after a couple hours where ALL the kids liked swimming and were much warmer.
For our field trip the next day we went to Durant for some creek fun!
These girls got a little too deep
we had a picnic lunch and everything
after a few hours it was time to head back....and start aunt camp!
After the Got to Be NC Festival we watched Cailey in her final soccer tournament game then went to a neighborhood ice cream party (before heading back to church for Elevate). It was a BUSY day..but there is always time for ice cream:)!
We look forward to going to the Got To Be NC Festival every May. We use this as our 'fair' because it's free and you can get a ride band to go on as many things as they want to. It's MUCH cheaper than the fair and there is NO crowds or waiting in lines!! We love it!
Ephram was in awe when he saw the tractors.
Sweet siblings willing to go on 'Ephram rides'..and by the looks of it they were having just as much fun!
Braden loves rides that have a big DROP
on of the perks of being too little for certain rides is getting the sample the cotton candy first:)
mommy was very sweet and a great sharer:)
this. this doesn't happen often between these two but I'm so thankful I captured it on film!
Braden..again...with the drop rides!
Brian was teaching them about this cars' History. We throw 'school' in whenever possible:)
We watched chicks hatch for a good 15 minutes. It was SO SO neat to watch them hatching one after another. There was also a place where we watched all the fluffy chicks who were ready to be out.
