Kinsey LOVES bubbles and always has. Everytime
we're outside she can be found holding a bubble wand.
(it used to be eating a bubble wand...with bubble juice on it:)

After the sprinkle fun Kinsey got everyone into blowing bubbles! We had such a great evening together just hanging out in the yard.

On Saturday Braden was invited to celebrate Reece's birthday at the beach and then to stay overnight! That evening we got out the sit n' spin sprinkler (and the regular one) for the girls and they just had a blast! They also loved jumping in the puddles that formed....hard to believe the summer is coming to an end so quickly!

Crafty Week

Seems like we took a break from arts and crafts right before school got out and lately that's all the kiddos have wanted to do! The other day they colored an ocean picture with light colored crayons and painted over it with water colors. It has such a great effect and they loved it!

Last week Cailey was at New Life Camp from 9-5, EVERY DAY and had a great time! She went fishing, sang songs, did crafts, went paddle boating, swam, played on the playground, played games, did bible studies, and more. On the last evening we went to see a video of her week and sing songs. Afterwards she was able to show us around the camp...which included getting faces painted, fishing, paddle boating, playing on the playground, etc. Braden and Kinsey had an awesome time too...Braden was REALLY into singing the songs and doing the motions!

do you have any coupons?

This is what the kids are doing for fun these days! All three of them LOVE to play 'store' and take turns buying things. Braden asked me if he could have some coupons to use so I pulled out a bunch of expired ones. The cash register we have is great and has a ton of math games on it...so they've learned how to subtract the coupons off and know if they are being 'overcharged'. I love it:)! I love that they are learning to spend money wisely at a young age and that they get SO excited to hear how much I've saved on each grocery trip. These kids are learning to love saving money!

Cailey has been on a Wikki Stick kick lately! She gotten into making some really great designs and wanted me to take pictures of them so they could go on the blog. I'm thinking she may need to get her own blog here soon:)! She works so long and hard on her projects and does such a great job! Way to go, babe!

double chocolate chip muffins

Last week Cailey baked double chocolate chip muffins mostly by herself! She even put them in the oven and pulled them out when the timer (that she set) went off:). When she was done she said, "mommy...will you blog this?" Ummm....I wasn't planning on it (just wanted to enjoy some special time with my girl), so I didn't take pictures during the process but she had me take one of her eating it so I could 'blog it':).

it's been a while since we've done door art...about
time! i love that each time we do it the kids decide what
they want to do and the craft supplies or techniques they want
to use. they came up with the idea to make fish and
an octopus out of pipe cleaners! very creative!

cailey outlined the ocean

all the kiddos painted the ocean and sand
together. for the ocean they used a regular brush
and for the sand they sponge painted.

the kiddos decided they wanted a sunset so cailey
picked out all the colors and painted the entire thing
by herself! i thought it turned out AMAZING!

we cut out the seaweed and glued everything
else on. braden came up with the idea for the button/feather
sailboat:). cailey wanted a starfish and decorated that.
when daddy came home from work, he
came up with an awesome idea for our picture!
he printed this silhouette of the kiddos from our last
beach trip. the kids and i loved it!
