Last Day

as promised...we took Cailey back to Hollywood Studios (since she wasn't feeling good the first time) so she could ride Tower of Terror and the Rockin' Roller Coaster. the park opened an hour earlier that day so it worked out perfectly! cailey and i RAN from the entrance straight to the RRC and were tired when we got there! there was no wait...as in we went right on and i had no time to think about it. i've always liked roller coasters...and going upside down (not spinning) BUT this was CRAZY!! the whole 0-60 in a second is NOT my thing...i could feel my whole face get sucked back! the middle of the ride was great, but the two times when it went ridiculously fast weren't my thing. it scared the mess out of me and i will not EVER be going on again!! thankfully i'm thinking braden will be tall enough to ride it with her the next time we go back. cailey LOVED it!! and that's all that matters! she wanted to go on it again. then the oldest two went on TOT by themselves....and loved it:)

Next up we headed to MK for the morning before going home. The kids each got to pick one 'favorite' ride to go on first and then we went on a few more quick ones. They all picked their fav's...dumbo for Ephram, Space Mountain for Braden (and Cailey..though she picked Splash to ride since she knew Braden would pick Space), and Thunder Mountain for Kinsey. (Overall Everest was Cailey's fav though).


then they watched the dance party parade..and danced before heading over to Small World and The people mover one last time (aka quick rides to get on).

i just LOVED kinsey's excitement over seeing all the characters! she would wave and just light up when they came and gave her a high five! then she's ask them the cutest questions...like "do you live with Mickey Mouse?" and (to a random princess) "are you friends with snow white?" SO VERY cute!! telling ya..the PERFECT age!

Friday...MK again

CLEARLY our favorite 'all around' park is Magic Kingdom and we spent Friday there again. We went on Aladdin and the train for ephram...and he loved them:). Then we hit all of our other fav's. Friday was another super fun day..and a bit cooler (YAY).

We were able to go from ride to ride with hardly any waiting! Teacups, Carousel, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Aladdin, Rockets, Buzz Light Year, Peter Pan, Small World...we covered all of them! (Except for the one that no one likes...Pirates of the Caribbean). And yes...ephram is sleeping in the picture:)

People Mover together (usually just ephram or the younger two go on but they all wanted to:). Then we discovered just what a SMALL world it was when I saw a friend, Tish, on the Small World ride! We took a picture for Kelly:).

We went to the castle lighting show that evening..very cute! Then we headed back to the hotel where we got to see the completed giant gingerbread tree and house. We also met the Chef who had been working on it since July!! The kids got to read/learn about how much butter, flour, etc went into his amazing work! (The picture doesn't do it justice!)

The housekeeper set up the animals all together as their last night hurrah:) The kids were so excited to see it set up like that.

Chef Mickey

Since we were staying at the Contemporary we would walk past Chef Mickey's everyday on our way to and from the monorail. We saw tons of people come to our hotel just to go there...and decided to see if we could surprise the kiddos with breakfast there. On Friday morning they had a reservation open for breakfast so we took it and boy were they surprised and EXCITED!! It was a buffet so they ate tons of food (and Brian drank a ridiculous amount of orange juice) then got to meet the Mickey characters. This was mainly for the boys since the girls had their princess lunch but the girls...especially Kinsey..were excited too. Kinsey's favorite character isn't a princess..it's Minnie Mouse. She LOVES Minnie and got to meet her...yay! Even more exciting was that we were there on Mickey's birthday so they had a celebration while we were there too.


Ephram saw his favorite...Pluto...and Braden saw Mickey and Goofy which are his favorites. (Mickey was his favorite last time we came and Goofy was this time).

It was SO fun telling the kids we didn't have time to eat in our hotel room (where they usually had poptarts and bananas) then stopping by Chef Mickey's on the way to the monorail! Great surprise and great family time too:)

Epcot...after a little MK:)

Magic Kingdom was opened an hour early for guests who were staying at Disney resorts so we took advantage of that hour before going to Epcot for the day (since it opened an hour later). The older two ran straight to Space Mountain while I stayed back with Kinsey and Ephram who wanted to meet tons of characters who were right by the entrance! We came through the castle on our way out to look at the mosaics of Cinderella.

Braden woke up with pink eye that morning..which is why he looks a little strange in these pictures...poor guy was trying his best! by the evening it was a little better:).

We spent the morning riding all the rides and going through the aquarium before the oldest three went to their homeschool class about how 3D movies and roller coasters are made for three hours. during the time they were gone we walked around the different countries with ephram and took him on a boat ride..before he fell asleep:). The kids had a GREAT time at their class and we had a great time with just ephram...though it felt very strange without the other there.

after we got the kiddos from their class (where according to them they rode rides, watched a movie, and learned about how to make a 3D movie) we went and met a lot of princesses and their counterparts...while touring the different countries. after riding the Norway ride they climbed all over the troll:).

China!

Kinsey, Braden, and Ephram shared Japanese food for dinner and Cailey chose a Mango Slushy. After dinner the kids rode soaring with Brian while ephram and i secured a spot for the laser light show..which was cool!
