Animal Kingdom...and....

On Monday we went to Animal Kingdom for the morning/day and then headed over to MK for the night parade and fireworks.

We went on the safari first thing and saw all the great animals..ephram LOVED it! At one point an ostrich was blocking the way of our vehicle...but I'm sure it was there to see me:).

Afterwards we RAN to ride Everest (running was a theme this year because the kiddos wanted to avoid lines so we'd run the second we got in the park for no waiting AND get a fast pass:) when we got there it was only a 5 min wait (which means none) and the kids convinced me to go on it with them. NOT a ride i like...or will ever ride again...and i mean it this time:). Braden and Cailey LOVED it and went on 5 more times while we waited for them. Crazy kids! Kinsey didn't like it and hung out with us....on daddy's shoulders.

Next up was the rapid ride which they all LOVED! Ephram and I were watching the monkeys while we waiting for them to come up. They were all giggles:).

Then we went to dino land where they played in the playground area and rode all the rides (with no wait...we picked a good day/time to go there!). Cailey went on one ride that we hadn't seen the last time..or maybe we did but she wasn't tall enough. It was in dino land and started super high in teacup looking seats. Brian went on with her since I don't do spinning rides and she liked it...but not as much as Everest:). Ephram really liked the dino ride (just like dumbo) and went on three times:).

We went to the AWESOME Nemo show and Ephram just couldn't stop talking Nemo all day long. He loved it! We all loved it! Then we went to see The Lion King show which Cailey was able to participate in! They were both great...I love that we get to see shows, parades, and do rides in Disney!

after a quick bus ride to Magic Kingdom we all ran to Space Mountain for a few quick rides pooh ride, then to the Philharmagic Show before getting our place for the parade.

the lighted Christmas castle is by FAR my favorite thing in Disney...just can't stop looking at it! The kids LOVED the parade and fireworks!

Magic Kingdom... (full) day 1

We had a FABULOUS time in Disney World a couple weeks ago! Every day was full and busy from wake up to bed..we go hard while we're there going to the earliest park and staying until the latest one closes. The first night (I didn't take my camera the day we arrived but we went to MK that day too) Magic Kingdom was open until 3am but since we had been up since 4am and drove all day we decided it would be best not to stay THAT late:).

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was Kinsey's FAVORITE ride!! We were able to ride all the kiddos favorites many many times. I wasn't sure how Braden and Kinsey would feel about the roller coasters but both of them loved them:)! Kinsey didn't love Space Mountain but went on three times throughout the week "just to be sure she didn't like it again".

I am always the official roller coaster adult with the kids as Brian doesn't like them BUT I didn't want to get soaked on Splash Mountain so I sent Brian with them on it. He was a trooper as he doesn't like drops but once I saw him come off dry I took over that ride with them too:). We did have some bad experiences on it several times though because it kept breaking down while we were on it! One day it broke down when we sent Braden and Cailey on it by themselves and I was a SUPER worried mama. It should have taken no time at all for them but 30 minutes later they were still on. Cailey came off scared but Braden thought it was fun. I was just thankful they came off ok!

waiting for the first parade to start!! parades are a GREAT way to take a break from lots of walking and riding. however, once you've seen them it's also a great time to go on the rides because so many people are watching the parade...so less lines.

The kids LOVED every bit of the parade:)! Ephram fell asleep right as it started, though!

Every night the housekeeper would have the kids stuffed animals set up a different way which the kids got a kick out of! We had a GREAT first full day!
