Sanfrancisco by day, Sausalito, and more

Our second day in San Francisco was focused on seeing as many sights as possible before driving to Mountain View.  We started by driving up and down the roller coaster streets...CRAZINESS! I bet the runners in San Francisco are WAY more in shape than the ones here!

then we went to Lombard street and drove through the gorgeous flowers
before getting out to take pictures.

We saw EVERY view of the Golden Gate bridge possible! We drove all the way up the mountain to try and get the best picture but the fog was blocking most of it. I'm thankful we were able to see it at all because when we were driving across the bridge all we could see was fog. There was a blue sky everywhere except for on the bridge...it was crazy!  We also spent a good while walking up and down the streets of China Town and did a lot of shopping:).
We were hoping the fog would lift (though it never did) so we went to Sausalito
to walk around bit. It was another gorgeous town that brought me back to MA. The weather
was amazing so we picked a place where we could get a yummy burger AND eat outside.
The best part of being there (for me) was all the flowers, eating outside, and NO BUGS!

We wandered in a toy store and just happened to find EACH of Ephram's favorite dogs! Craziness! There was Dilly, Frank, Baby Dog, and Brody. We just had to get a picture for him:).  Then we tried the bridge again but it looked like it was just floating in the clouds.

We drove to Muir Woods to go hiking and look at all the OLD Redwoods. Good times.

The craziest thing happened on the way back out of the woods. I swore I saw someone from childhood and wanted to say something but Brian thought I was crazy (because I hadn't seen her in YEARS and we weren't super close). I knew it just had to be her but didn't call out because Brian didn't want me to. (Basically her and three other girls hiked past us...but we both did a double take when we saw each other).

It was KILLING me so when we finally got reception back on the phone I looked her (and her sister) up on facebook and found out that one of them lived in San Fran (while the other lives in NC still) and contacted her..to find out that it was indeed her (along with two sisters and a friend) hiking that day. Her sister happened to be visiting that weekend.  Talk about crazy timing. Brian wanted to go out and buy a lottery ticket because we couldn't have planned that if we tried! Lol! I'll remember that story for a long time (as will Brian:).

After the woods we drove to Mountain View and crashed from our super busy and fun last day together. We had SUCH a fun time and are so thankful we were able to go together.
