Fall Festival
We went to Bayleaf's Fall Festival again this year which was the night before Halloween. The kids couldn't wear their Wizard of Oz costumes because Braden wouldn't have been able to play all the games in his outfit so they picked out these instead. Braden borrowed Spider Man from Caden, Cailey was a gogo girl (borrowed from Gracie), Ephram was a doggie (how appropriate! borrowed from Carter), and Kinsey was a "Japanese person".
Cailey CRACKED me up because she seemed to transform into a diva just by putting on the dress...she was hilarious!! and cold!!
Ephram didn't get a nap because of the race that afternoon so he was a bit grumpy about the whole costume thing but I LOVED that he was a doggie...since he loves them so much!
I gave Kinsey a couple of choices (because she wanted to be something other than a princess). She could be German or Japanese...and picked the later. This was my outfit from when I was a child (minus the missing orange tie). I safety pinned it all around because it was a few sizes too big but she looked adorable!! I put a bun in her hair and used chopsticks (Korean ones:) to add to the effect. She got SO many compliments...and loved telling people she was "a Korean dressed up as a Japanese".
Braden is my guy who will wear whatever and was just happy to be dressed up:).
The kids had so much fun with friends there this year! Both the Morgan's and the Klick's came:). Outside they played a couple games, scaled a wall, went down a giant jumpy slide, and posed for pics.
After eating dinner and lots of treats they went around to ALL of the games, magic show, jumpy's (with no line!!), before having more treats:). They had a super fun time and we ended up staying until it was over!
