braden was fascinated by all the different kinds of pumpkins
picking out just the right one...this was right before
kinsey dropped that!
kinsey dropped that!
airplane! braden wanted to know what all the knobs did
while ephram was just thrilled to be sitting there
the weather was PERFECT and there were
no crowds all day. it was honestly the best day
we've ever had there! all set for our hayride!
(kinsey and ephram didn't get the memo to smile:)
they were all excited to see the animals...and ephram especially liked the chickens.
they had this cute calf that ephram was looking at and honestly
i was amazed he wasn't scared because he's scared of bugs, sand diggers, and
anything else that crawls and has legs (except for dogs). he was doing awesome
and stayed there even when the other three went to 'milk' the display cow.
then the calf MOOOED and it was all over. you would have thought he had been
knocked down the way he screamed! (of course mommy thought it was cute and
just had to take a picture:)
this is always a favorite of theirs and since the pumpkin patch was almost empty the day we went, they were able to go on it over and over! this was by far kinsey's favorite thing she did all day:)! poor brian had run 12 miles that morning and his long legs weren't comfortable in it for more than one ride:).
braden always LOVES the duck races! he was talking about it
before we even got to the farm. when we left he said there was
a tie of favorites between the duck races and the cow ride.

they all LOVE being pushed fast in this
zipline swing by daddy! this was ephram's
FAVORITE thing all day.

the GIANT tunnel slide! cailey was looking forward to this all day and must have gone down it 30 times! she would have gone more if we had stayed later! this was her favorite thing to do which surprised me. i would have thought the giant trampoline or ride would have been picked above it but she just LOVES this slide!
poor ephram was so scared by the calf that he wanted nothing
to do with the sweet pony and pony colt.
they have so many of these picture taking opportunities on the farm and braden wanted a picture at EVERY one of them:).
we ALL loved relaxing and playing in the corn crib!
there was lots of ticklings, burying, filling, and hugging.

i LOVE these pictures...makes me think of a storybook.
little did that duck know it was about to be chased!
brian did the giant corn maze with them (as being lost or not
knowing where to go is NEVER something that's fun for me)
and braden did the mini one
more rides! sweet ephram fell asleep on me after the first ride and they
just let me stay on over and over since there wasn't anyone waiting. this was
his only nap of the day and he did great!
With me being sick a whole week, going out of town for two weekends, and rain or HOT weather we didn't get a chance to go to the pumpkin patch until Saturday (after Kinsey's party). It was actually a blessing in disguise because the weather was PERFECT, no one was there, and homeschoolers got in free! We always look forward to this and we all just had a blast! We spent over five hours there and would have stayed longer if we brought dinner and coats.
