Cailey came up with the idea to make hair barrettes with braided DMC string to try and sell at a yard sale. Unfortunately they weren't looking to buy hair clips but she's sold several since then to her girlfriends and moms of little girls. Apparently it's popular to get a small part of your hair wrapped in these (just like friendship bracelet's from my childhood) but this is such a better idea because you can take it out everyday and change with the colors you are wearing. I think the idea was genius and am super proud of my girl who is not into crafts for coming up with the idea and following through from start to finish!
