Braden's Lego Party!

Braden decided to decorate with Lego men and some different sets he had built. As the guests arrived there was a jar full of Legos for them to estimate.

The boys checked out all the Lego creations until everyone arrived then the games continued! After estimating the boys went on a Lego hunt where each color Lego had a different value. It wasn't all about who found the most but who had the most points. They loved it!

Next up they had to hold a Lego under their necks and try to drop it in one of two cups. They had two chances with the smaller mouthed cup being worth more points and the larger cup being worth less. They loved this game so much they asked if they could play more rounds! Ephram always wanted to participate too:) (The girls were at sleepovers).

Then they moved to the balloon pop race. Brian put a Lego in each balloon and they had to pop them then race around to the deck and hand BOTH Legos to Brian. (This was trickier than we thought because several of them dropped the Legos along the way but they loved this game too!)

After that came the tallest tower game. They had 10 minutes to see who could build the tallest tower. Sounds easy...but their towers kept falling down because they needed support! Then when the 10 minutes was up they had to carry them to the kitchen table without them falling apart. This was the hard part!! Both Braden and Caden looked like they were going to be tied but their towers broke on the way! The person who thought their tower wasn't going to win won!

The last one was the straw 'minute to win it game' that we have played (at Cailey's party) using skittles before. This time they used Legos and it was more difficult. A couple of the boys found it quite easy while the others just laughed as they tried SO hard!

While the pizza was cooking they took a snack break and ate a TON of food then went out on the trampoline. The Lego heads were a HUGE hit! So glad they were yummy and not just cute:).

Braden wanted a Lego pizza made with GIANT pepperoni! After dinner the boys played outside, had nerf gun fights, and Braden opened his gifts.

The boys were still full from dinner (and snacking) that they held off on cake until later. Their time was spent playing with nerf guns (being boys:), building Lego sets, and playing outside.

then it was cake time!! i LOVE the Lego 8 Brian
made for Braden:).

Everyone was SO sweet to Ephram, who wanted to participate in everything. He had some sweet boys being kind to him! Braden chose to watch Star Wars after dinner which lasted until 10:30 then the boys told some stories and went to sleep.

They were up bright and EARLY the next morning (and MUCH louder than girls:) ready to have more nerf gun fights, build Lego sets, and jump on the trampoline! They were all working together on a huge bridge Braden has and using the laptop for instructions that they could all see.

For Breakfast they had Lego waffles and Lego frozen bananas, which were both a HUGE hit and devoured!

OH...and I had forgotten about the Lego ice the night before but finally remembered at Breakfast and the boys loved it:). They had a good couple hours to play together after breakfast and before church (since they were up SO early:) and spent most of it outside on the trampoline. Then we brought them all to church with us! Braden had such a GREAT 8thbirthday party!
