Apple Picking

After a few boy/girl/everyone pics we went out to go apple picking...in the cool mist. ALL week it wasn't supposed to be rainy for our weekend in MD but suddenly things changed and our day which was planned to be outside was quickly halted...except for apple picking because that was something everyone was really looking forward to. Plus it wasn't raining very hard yet.

They all loved the apple picking...especially Caroline and Ephram. It was neat to see what a difference a year makes (for E). He was all about picking those apples and would ask me if they were good before either eating them or putting them in his bag. They ate a lot of apples!

fun fun fun being with the klick's for this since it was their first time apple picking! even in the rain the kids still wanted to race down 'their' hill...as tradition. the apple orchard was sold this year and the picking wasn't as good so we aren't sure if we'll continue our 7 year tradition next year. the kiddos have almost eaten all of the apples we picked (over 30 lbs) so we didn't even have enough to make tons of applesauce and desserts I normally make. so far it's just been some fun apple snacks and baked apples.
