Brian and I went to the fair once when we were dating but haven't been with kids because I just LOVE the pumpkin patch while they are young...and we just can't spend money to do it all. (Plus I just am not crazy about the fair). The last couple of years Cailey has really been wanting to go...then we were invited by the Klick's and decided to go for it.
The kids were all excited...but Cailey was beside herself! We started at the Cranberries and moved on the animals and then yesteryear... which mommy loved:).
Then we went to the rides...where each of us adults took turns riding with the kiddos! (Thankfully we got our ride tickets ahead of time so they weren't as expensive).

all without the adults but the others needed one of us:).
somehow i ended up having to go on the Ferris Wheel and was worried about going backwards b/c that always gives me a headache but it was fine and I had a great time with all the kiddos! (Give me a roller coaster anyday!) They had SO much fun going on all the rides and it wasn't crowded so they were able to run from one to another.
Then the daddies decided to play a game of basketball...friendly competition...that they both lost:(.
Next up was the pirate ride
Then on to dinner...the kids split footlongs, had TONS of snacks and some funnel cake and a fried candy bar.
i just HAD to takes lots of pictures of ephram on the boats because he just had SO much fun and thought he was such a big boy going by himself. he just LOVED it!! laughed and laughed the entire time:).
We had a GREAT time at the fair with the Klick's and loved that it wasn't busy because of the threat of rain. Cailey was a little disappointed because she wasn't tall enough to go on the rides she REALLY wanted to go on...still a few inches away BUT she still had fun. The other kiddos enjoyed everything about it and had a blast!
