SO excited
Each of the kiddos have college savings accounts but didn't have a personal account where they could bring their money and see it 'growing'. This summer I finally took Cailey to open her account and she was thrilled to count out her money and start saving. Our bank has a great program for kids (called Fat Cat account) and they even get id cards (that look like drivers licenses) for when they come add money to their accounts. Cailey was beyond excited! She's added to it several times and always knows exactly how much is in it...I love teaching them about saving at such a young age!
july 2004...a month before she turned two
i used to go to the bank with her weekly and she always RAN to Fat Cat to give him
a hug. the bank tellers have known her since then and have watched our family
grow from three to six! Fat Cat is all gross now from all the 'hugs' over the year
and they keep it up high but Ephram always points and "meows" at it.
