Cailey has really enjoyed reading the American Girl Doll books this year and asked for Kit for Christmas. We had convinced her it wasn't going to happen and even saved that present for last. She was BEYOND thrilled to see that Granny got it for her! Granny also got Kinsey the Ivy doll who is Asian and from the 70's. The girls have already had many tea parties, sleepovers, book readings, you name it with their dolls!
Cailey's been asking for a bath robe for a while and Nonny made her one last month. She also made all the kiddos jammies and surprised the girls by making matching jammies/robes for the dolls! Seeing as though the girls wear matching clothes often they just thought it was the neatest thing to match their dolls! (They don't know that there are matching clothes you can buy because those are outside of our budget.)
We are so thankful for Granny and Nonny for the dolls and clothes! The girls are gonna have great memories with them.
