perfect family day

All the kids had a great time at rocket day...watching the rockets, playing field games, eating lunch, and playing on the playground. Oh...and they ALL got dressed by themselves and came down coordinating!! I even had on a turquoise shirt to match them (by accident).

the scouts sure know how to feed their troops! lots of yummy watermelon, cooked out on the grill...all the sides...the kids loved it!


after Braden was done with rocket day we decided to go on a hike down to the water.



we let them wade...but there is a no swimming policy. thankfully we saw NO snakes that day (as I was very concerned about it)

ephram is afraid of the water (unlike kinsey was at the same age) so it was
very easy to keep him safe...he stayed close by brian and i. this was seriously one of
my favorite days so far this summer...was just so much fun with the kiddos and very
laid back..and unplanned. the GREAT weather helped!
