We went on a field trip to Oakview Farms with our co op on a gorgeous (chilly:) December day so the kids could learn about Christmas through through the years. First they started in a room set up like pioneer times and checked out the inside of the very small house. Next up was Christmas clue Bingo then 'name that tune' with Christmas songs AND they learned interesting facts about them.

Then they started traveling through time...first house
We moved into the main house after that where each room was decorated for Christmas from a different period in time. The kids learned a lot and had a great time!
All my kids liked the last room the most...which reminded me of our family room growing up..but was actually from the 50's and 60's!
after our field trip we headed out to lunch together:)
