My Morning Boy

Six months old and 3 years old

Since Braden has been in our family he has become our alarm clock. He is a morning person in every sense of the word, Brian and I are not a morning people at all. Every morning at 6:00 he comes in and joyfully says "Good Morning Daddy." He waits for Brian to take a shower and turns on the lights, gets out deoderant for Brian and paitently waits to be entertained. He is an introvert and usually very quiet by nature...except for early in the morning! Now that Cailey gets up early for school we are all up and Braden thinks it is so great. Hearing him give an excited play by play of what's going on is precious:).

Since Cailey has been in school I've been able to spend much needed time with Braden and Kinsey. We have been having a great time at the pool, library, and parks. Braden is very cautious when it comes to being in the pool and wants to hold on to me for dear life. Kinsey on the other hand is my daredevil who goes under the water over and over hoping that someone will pull her up.

Cailey has come a long way from the girl who wouldn't leave mommy and was too little to carry her backpack! Her FAVORITE dress when she was 2 was one my mom made her. Cailey has always loved turquoise, so mom made her another dress with leftover fabric a couple months ago.

I am having a really hard time with her going to school, but loving the funny stories she comes home with. On the way home the other day she told me all about the "firegrill" at school. She said, "the grill was very loud and we weren't aloud to talk." Then a couple days later she saw a police officer with a car pulled over and asked, "Mommy, are they going to get a cricket for disobeying the law?"

Can't wait to hear what she says next!

A visit from family

Uncle Matt, Aunt Leigh, and Nicky came for a visit. Uncle Matt was super funny to Cailey and Braden and kept telling them that Texas was stinky to joke with Aunt Leigh. Braden LOVED hugging Nicky and Nicky kept wanting to touch Braden's face. We had a great time.
