April Fool's!

It's been a while since April Fool's day but I just found these pictures and had to post them. I always do silly things on April Fool's day and this year was no different. Now that the kids are getting older I can REALLY get them:). I put eyeballs on all the fridge items just for fun.

this was awesome!! I wet a toilet paper roll and squished it up to look like poop then asked each of the kids separately (and Brian) if they knew who had pooped all over the bathroom.

it was SO hard to keep a straight face!
this was Cailey's reaction...lol!  Ephram was hilarious and kept telling me that he did NOT poo poo on the floor...lol!  Brian and Braden came home later and had a similar reaction as Cailey.

Cailey pulled a joke on Braden too...she wrapped up dirty underwear and said it was an early birthday gift. yuck!

These are the days....I want to remember. Our evenings of playing baseball in the front yard enjoying each other and the glorious weather.

Three Bear's Acres

 lots of sliding
We have been on LOTS of field trips this spring!  I had a groupon for Three Bears Acres so the kids and I went there last week. The weather was perfect for our trip out!

We spent all day there and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch out in the field. I'm so thankful for the ability to go on impromptu field trips!

April Visit and a Zoo trip

We had beautiful weather on our trip to see the Welch's in April!

These two had such a fun time playing together

 Our eight

The kiddos went to AWANA together since it was a Wednesday night so Laura and I were able to go to dinner and run errands together.

The next morning we headed to the zoo!  It was freezing in the beginning but warmed up as the day went on.

these two found a comfy seat

we got to see the polar bear and it's new habitat!

Laura and I joked about how they could go on a playground anywhere but we wanted to see the animals!

There was a new section with a large (gorgeous) natural area and things to play on

LOVE this picture with the ostrich in the background :)
we were able to see the animals close up this zoo trip!

The elephant was being fed sweet potatoes so we got to watch him for a long time. We were also able to ask questions to his keeper.
