Beach Day 3

The next day was a 'typical' beach day for us...on the sand between 8-8:30am and stay until around 1-1:30. Then up to the pool with the big kids for the afternoon while mommy takes the little one in to get a bath and nap. Everyone comes in around 4:30, showers, then we leave for dinner and an evening out! This has always been our schedule and we love it! We bring our cooler, umbrella, blankets and toys out to the beach and picnic together. This year we didn't have Kinsey nap and she LOVED it. They would all be so exhausted by bedtime that having all four of them share a room wasn't a problem. No one gets sunburned (except daddy who won't 'reapply') and no sun poisoning for my lips this year...YAY!

Kinsey loved the beach! She dug in the sand...a LOT! She could seriously spend hours digging with Braden and they had a blast together. She also liked trying out the boogie boards a little more this year (again...not as many pics as normal).

crawling towards the ocean...again! AND she carried buckets and BUCKETS of sand and water back and forth each day for our many castles:)

Daddy is our hero when it comes to the ocean. He takes anyone out who is willing to go...including mommy:)

Braden had a new found courage and love for the ocean this year. He went out pretty far both with Brian and with Cailey. Cailey and Braden would jump in the waves together and even had to be called in a couple of times because they were getting a little too adventurous. He loved the boogie board (in the shallow areas) and LOVED finding sand diggers. One day they spent HOURS finding them and filling up a whole bucket full. A couple mornings he went on runs with me and went on lots of walks with me to find seashells and fish. I LOVED the time we were able to spend together!

Cailey would pick the beach over Disney World anyday...and tells us this regularly. She loves Disney but she LOVES the beach more. The beach is her favorite place to be...from the sand and ocean to the pool, restaurants, shopping, waterparks, putt putt, and walks. She loves it! Cailey made several friends and would play with them and her siblings all day. They jumped in the waves together, built many sand castles, dug in the sand, went on the boogie boards, and swam. I was able to go on a couple of runs and walks with her also and just cherish that special time we had together.

ephram learned how to dig in the sand and loved having a shovel
and bucket to himself:)

he had a cold while we were there so he was quite my sandy, snotty, baby boy...but still SO happy all the time! he even wanted to play peek a boo instead of eat his lunch:)....and this is without a morning nap everyday.

that night we went to our 'favorite' seafood buffet for the 11th
year. the tradition came to an end that night because it was just
terrible...and now that the kids are older it's a lot more money! if the
food was great we'd keep going but brian and i were both pretty
disappointed. maybe we'll go back to pose for pics, though:)

they have a great place for the kids to play underneath the restaurant

barefoot landing

braden was NOT into my 'posed' pics this year and it was driving me BONKERS!! we could get e to smile but braden just didn't want to.

ephram LOVED doing puzzles in the toy store and looked
like such a big boy in his chair..and they had kinsey's favorite..
coloring!

got 4 smiles...between 2 pictures:)

i love this one of my big girl...and the one of the sisters

i love evening walks on the beach with my sweet family!

sweet brothers. ephram truly LOVES his big brother and can't wait to crawl and give him a double arm hug when he comes in the room. braden is the BEST big brother in the world! oh..and if braden was by himself he'd smile HUGE!! just not into the pic when all four of them were together.
