Nonny and Poppy brought presents for everyone!

ephram LOVED his balloon! and opening presents

this boy LOVES bananas!

Poppy doing an anatomy lesson with this awesome book we have. The kids learned a ton! Wish he was here to teach science all the time!

hanging out with poppy

nonny played game after game with them...we LOVE games!

they arrived on a thursday so we had all of friday free before the party on saturday. we decided to go to marbles and had a blast! we went at the PERFECT time and the place was empty...right after field trips were leaving and during naptime. we had the museum to ourselves!

love this one of kinsey! ephram's first time to marbles...he loved it all!

my wounded firefighter

they played restaurant for a good while and had so much
fun being able to serve us!

braden couldn't wait to get to the tools with poppy!

love how her tongue sticks out when she's concentrating!

we were all pretty amazed by kinsey (especially poppy) because she cut a whole piece of wood off by HERSELF. it took her a long time but she hung in there and wanted to finish it. all the kids started it but she was the only one to hang in and get it done. way to go kinsey! (we brought the wood home:)

making a derby car

odd to see hockey out again but they had fun!

from the beach...

to the mountains, and then the jungle

these things were hard work!

racing

we hadn't been there since they set up the money room but the kids could have spent HOURS in there. it was awesome and we can't wait to go back! SO MUCH FUN!! cailey just kept jumping up and down because she was so excited!

ephram loved all the balls:). braden was 'walking a dog' to earn money...poor thing was dragging the dog!

more games at home!

i had baked the cakes and cupcakes that morning and planned on decorating them that night. when we came home i found the cake like this on my dining room table. turns out that buddy jumped up on the table and ate it! i was CONVINCED it was one of the kids (and history supports that) but it was the dog! fortunately it was BEFORE i had decorated it.

the lions:)

On Friday night Nonny and Poppy took us to our favorite restaurant for our anniversary and nonny's birthday, Casalinga. YUM! Auntie Anne was there too. Thanks Nonny and Poppy! We celebrated Nonny's birthday on Thursday night with baked ziti and her favorite cake- german chocolate.

Love the pics from Marbles. I am sure hockey was still out because they were in the playoffs then. The kids look great in the hockey/ref. jerseys!
