two days of surprises

looking WAY too old...though as cailey reminds me
i'll look back at these in a few years and think that they
were so cute and little. so true! I hadn't told cailey they were
coming so she got a happy surprise:)

i always take pics of them at mealtimes without thinking about it because usually they spend their time off playing outside or upstairs. i guess this is the one time i can count on them sitting still:)!

the other kiddos! again...at mealtime...the only time we take a picture break (and take a break from catching up together:)

i always say it but it amazes me to see all these
kiddos together! perfect picture of God's family!
fyi- this took m&m's:) TOTALLY worth it.
after the pic we all packed up and headed to tball or softball
practice. brian had four (cailey, rebecca, and our boys) and we
took kinsey and laura's little's with us to play on the playground
with addison and watch kinsey play ball.

the next morning i REALLY didn't want them to leave so laura hung around for a while. all in all it was a super busy day at our house. i was watching alex and ashton because she didn't have school and had two other playdates planned!

after laura and kiddos left we had the williams over for a couple hours with addison and then the klick's came with their three sweet kiddos. there were LOTS of children in the house that day...but it was a blast for everyone!

during naptime ashton and the big kids made brownies then did the homemade puffy paint that goes in the microwave...so fun! they made so may pictures and could have done more if it wasn't time to go!

Where?? The girls were off to a sleepover at Ashton's so Brian and I (along with the Eshleman's) could redo their room and surprise them the next day. They were THRILLED to be sleeping over the most exciting house in the world with all the yummy food and candy you could ever dream of! So excited that they suspected nothing:). This was Kinsey's first sleepover and she was thrilled...mommy was happy that Cailey was going along with her. They came home super tired but had a fabulous time!

Cheryl picked up HUGE cupcakes from a bakery and left one for each of the boys. I took most of the frosting off of ephram's and he loved it. Braden ate every.last.lick. of frosting and cupcake. So sweet of her to think of the boys!

The second the girls left I told Braden all about the surprise and he couldn't WAIT to help! I told him we were ordering pizza and the eshleman's were coming over to help us which was awesome for him because he LOVES them. We went out to grab some last minute things (dust ruffles, etc.) then rushed home so Brian could pick up the mattresses. Next up...extreme makeover: girl's room edition-phase 1!
