The kids and I headed up to MD to spend a week and a half with Nonny and Poppy. Brian came up for the long weekend (Fri night-Tues) over the 4th to join us.
the first day was nonny's last day of work before retirement (YAY!) so the kids and i headed to a park in the morning before it got to hot then went home to bake a cake. we surprised with a German Chocolate Cake...her favorite!
going on the slip n slide (which was a new addition this year...thank you, nonny!)
playing mother may i and hide n' seek outside, and chasing!
and that was all only on day 1!
