friends arrive!

i was SO thankful that each of the kids had a friend (or friends) to play with and the older ones spent their day going off together on slides, etc. brian and i were able to take turns going with friends, each other, or the kiddos too...yay!! thankful for friends willing to watch the tot!

Thanks to facebook I found a GREAT deal on Great Wolf Lodge tickets this summer. Big Brother Big Sister was doing a fundraiser and sold tickets for 5$ for the whole day (the deal was pretty much all of September and the beginning of October). Normally you can't go just for the day..you have to spend the night and it's much more so this was a GREAT deal! We thought about buying tickets for the next day too and staying at Laura's but thought it would be too much after a whole day...plus we had already missed school from the weekend before being in MD. One day from open to close was perfect...10 hours! We went with the Klick's, Conards, and Welch's.

ephram loved playing in the "ocean" aka wave pool and would ask to go in. once the waves started he'd get a scared look on his face and run back to me though.

ephram was NOT crazy about the slides for the first half of the day (though tried a medium sized one..and came down crying) and the poor thing was freezing (just like braden). he ended up sleeping on me (while isaac slept on laura) for close to two hours..cherish the snuggle time with my boy and talk time with friends! he was happier once he woke up but still didn't want to slide. hannah, caroline, and kinsey had a BLAST playing together...i love that glimpse of heaven!

all three were able to go on the obstacle course without a problem this time and would go on over and over again.

We had a GREAT time and were very thankful to go together for the day. Oh..and the best part is that I was worried it would be very crowded but it was pretty much empty until about 3 and then slowed down again after dinner. There was very little waiting..and sometimes no wait at all. PERFECT day! Kiddos: Caden, Caroline, Carter, Scarlett, Kyle, Hannah, Samuel, Rebecca, Isaac, Cailey, Braden, Kinsey, and Ephram.
