We've done dinosaur digging but had never seen these 'turtle' eggs until we were at the aquarium. Braden wanted one so we got it and boy was it neat to watch the process of it "hatch" over a few days...and now he gets to play with it! Basically it starts as a hard egg and when put in water the 'turtle' grows until it starts to crack the egg. Eventually it keeps getting bigger and bigger until it comes out completely. Very neat.
