Happy 8th Birthday Braden!!

Today was Braden's 8th birthday and we had a great time singing for him all day and celebrating him! Since it's a Friday we didn't do school, just played games, did crafts, and packed for Nonny and Poppy's house. He requested all of his meals the night before and true to Braden they involved his favorites...chocolate, pretzels, steak, and mushrooms! He opened his gifts right after breakfast since we'd be driving to MD when Brian got home from work.

He got two Lego Star Wars books (one dictionary and one encyclopedia), a wii game, and Cars 2. To say he was excited by his gifts would be a HUGE understatement! He loved them all and read the Star Wars books front to back before we even got on the road!

Breakfast request: Brownie pancakes with glaze Lunch request: he originally wanted to go out with Caden but Cailey was throwing up so he chose peanut butter and honey brownie
pancakes with pretzels, frozen grapes, and a giant hershey's bar!

He loves to play games as much as his mama so we spent a good part of the afternoon doing that.

Steak and mushrooms was provided by Golden Corral in the form of take out (on our way) and he LOVED it! The next day he dug in to the homemade triple layer triple chocolate cake with homemade hot fudge sauce on top made by Nonny!

Nonny and Poppy got his a HUGE nerf dart gun and a nerf water gun that he loves! He can now have a fair fight against Brian's nerf gun! He had a great time 'sneak attacking' Poppy and the other kids over the weekend:). Love this boy!! He went on a walk with Poppy and when he came home he brought me a bouquet of flowers and I wore one in my hair.

Braden is so very thoughtful, helpful, and his love language is definitely quality time! We love you, Braden!! Happy 8th Birthday!
