Deck the Halls

 We always get so excited to pull out the Christmas decorations!

I'm so thankful for this season of spending time together and focusing on the Christ Child. Every night we read a devotion together while the candles are lit the they hang the Jesse ornament on the tree. Next the kids play Christmas Carols on the piano and we sing together. After the advent magnet is taken out we always end our evening singing the 12 Days of Christmas...and we each have our parts:). Both Cailey and Braden know how to play it on the piano so they either take turns on different nights or we just sing without the piano. Ephram sings, "3 French Hens", Kinsey has 7, Braden 8, and Cailey 10.  I sing 5 Golden Rings, Brian sings 6, and we all sing the rest. It's such a fun time we have...just being together and singing! (The kids sing their ages.)

On some nights we play music after our singing and just reflect.
