thumb action

we laugh whenever we find sweet ephram like this...'sneaking' a little thumb action and doggie from outside of the crib. we have always gone to "thumb 'only' in the crib" starting at 1 year old and then 'no thumb' at two. he generally only sucks his thumb when he has his doggie (or a similar stuffed friend) and even though i know it makes life SO much easier later on i still get sad when they turn two and the cute thumb goes away.

as soon as ephram noticed me taking pictures he got a 'guilty' smile on his face like he was 'caught'. he definitely gets it! i took this pic after he had breakfast and before he got dressed.
