yep...mom bought us MATCHING shirts:) it made me laugh but I wore it (along with matching khaki capri's) with her. gotta say i think this is the first time we've ever done this. we looked pretty cute walking around in shops all day...the kids thought it was "SO COOL!"
in college i used to match with my girlfriends all the time (not shocking that i match my children). there were FIVE of us who would dress identical (Eve, Kelly, Zibby, Me, and Anne) and we even still have matching LLBean backpacks..in the same color....with our nicknames on them. yep...my friends REALLY love me:). now i'm gonna have to drag up some pics.
GROSS! when we picked up the slip n slide to put it away for the day they kids found a TON of worms underneath it!! looks like we didn't need to get those worms for fishing from walmart afterall:)!
he finally asked if he could bring his couch inside...and cailey read to them:)
we picked up 48 books at the library while we were there and read them all before moving on
to reading each other's books!
Poppy played the piano for us (YAY) and we had a dance party! It brought back memories as he used to play all the time and I can remember falling asleep to it every night.
at the end of the 'dance party' (and poppy playing piano) ephram pulled up a chair and said, "play more, Poppy".
