Christmasy Sleepover

Braeden is tracked out and we were excited that he could sleepover and join us in some fun activities! I picked him up at noon and they spent the day playing outside in the HOT (73 degree) weather. After a quick dinner we packed up TONS of groceries together and went to deliver them to a family in need. We had to make lots of trips back and forth from the van to their house because we brought so many and boy was it a blessing to us! The kids loved picking out food, etc. for them..it was a great experience...definitely my favorite part of the night. Definitely a tangible way for the children to experience the true meaning of Christmas.

Afterwards we went to the lights at Lake Myrna for the first time where the kids had hot chocolate (again...really hot night:) and saw Santa...and the many lights! Brian and I agree that it was a fun thing to do once:). We sure do miss the Chick fil A lights that they used to have at Walnut Creek!

When we got home Braeden got to participate in our nightly advent activities...which he thought were "cool". Then the kids watched Santa Buddies which was a gift from Ms. Cheryl...they all thought it was cute:). It was a very late night but they had a blast.

The next day they played lots of games (battleship, perfection, bingo, connect four..to name a few:).

When Marsie and Lucas came to pick up Braeden we were having so much fun we lost track of time and ended up going to CFA together for lunch...then staying there for hours:)! It was a super fun day to hang out and catch up while the boys played! Gracie was over too (and came with us) so the girls had a friend with them which made it fun for everyone. I love these pictures of Ephram and Lucas because Braden and Braeden became friends when they had just turned 2. Even though Lucas is 10 months older than Ephram they are becoming buddies too:).
