we had the klick's over for dinner a couple weeks ago and made it a jammie night! even the mommies got in on the fun (but the daddies had just come home from work). it was super simple since we had just recovered from Thanksgiving and Disney so we ordered pizza, had veggies, and i made my yummy brownies. The kids had a BLAST catching up (as did the grown ups) then we all did the jesse tree together since it was December 1. our nightly traditions are cherished and the kids look forward to them as December approaches. We started with the Jesse tree (which ephram calls the Jesse treat:), then lit the candle and sang carols while Cailey and Braden played them on the piano. After that we did our other two advent calendars (magnetic one and candy pocket) before more singing...then more playing. We are so blessed to have such great friends who can come over and eat dinner...pizza!...in jammies and not care:)!
