'choo choos', elephants and spaceships...

Mom planned a great day in DC for the kiddos and I! We haven't brought the kids there (other than to the zoo MANY times) before so they didn't know what to expect. We did A LOT of walking and got to visit the History of Natural Sciences Museum and the Air and Space Museum. We ate lunch at the old Post office, and checked out the Washington monument and Capital. Everyone was tired by the end of the day..but next time Brian is with us we're going to go back to see more of both museums:)!

They LOVED the Metro! The whole way they were
so fascinated and Kinsey kept saying, "Choo, choo!"
Braden thought the 'tunnels' were great too:).

they LOVED the magnifying glass and binoculars!

Air and Space museum...once again they LOVED it! We could have
spent many more hours there if our feet weren't hurting so much:)

the kiddos did GREAT walking but by the end Cailey and Braden's
feet hurt so much that they took turns riding in the stroller!

Okay, I'm confused. I thought your parents lived in the city where we grew up. But it looks like you all are in No.VA and DC? Huh?

BTW, the baby Nan and I visited was Laura's newest nephew! Precious!
