Monday Poppy was able to take the afternoon off to spend some extra time with Cailey and Braden. We went to a recycled tire park where the kids got to play on some equipment they hadn't seen before. We walked down to a lake where the kids looked for fish and other animals... which they didn't see. We did get to see a deer family before they were scared away by Braden's squeals though! Cailey pumped on the swings for a LONG time and ended up getting TOO hot. After putting water on her neck and head we thought ice cream could help cool her off:).
The kiddos were SO excited to see turquoise (Cailey's favorite color) and yellow (Braden's favorite color) ice cream!
After ice cream we headed over to some paddleboats...a first for the kids! It went great except for the part when Poppy thought it would be a good idea to paddle under a fountain that felt like a downpour! It cooled us off but we went home SOAKED to the bone.
While we were gone Nonny was able to spend some quality time with Kinsey after she woke up from her nap. She polished Kinsey's finger and toenails for the first time:).
