"tap" dancing
Recently Cailey saw some kids who were AMAZING at tap dancing and has started ummm..."tapping" all over the place! I've tried to teach her how to REALLY tap dance (I did it for years when I was younger) but she wanted no part of it! It is HILARIOUS because she really thinks she's a prodigy! I've never seen her like this...she's asked me to video tape it and show it to all my friends when they come over! Every time someone comes over she shows off her 'dancing'. VERY CUTE!!

Pizza Night!
The other night Brian had to work late and Anthony was out of town so Beth and the kids came over for dinner. The kids played, made pizza (even rolled out their own dough!), played some more, ate pizza, and played even more:). It was a great time for Beth and I to catch up and the kids to get some play time with great friends!

Traditions cont.
We continued our tradition after the parade and going out for lunch by coming home and decorating the tree! We have two trees...one for the kids and their ornaments, and our regular one. The kids have made SO many ornaments that their tree is almost full! Once again, the 'baby' got to put the angel on the tree:).

Christmas Parade
Yesterday we continued our tradition of going to the Christmas parade downtown and decorating our Christmas tree. It was COLD (we're talking MA cold) so I spent the night before getting the kids clothes ready for the next day. They each had on 4 or 5 shirts, 4 pairs of pants, 4 pairs of socks, and of course hats, coats, gloves, and scarves. It took me an HOUR to get them dressed that morning:)! They didn't complain about anything being cold except for their feet...and I felt the cold there too. I guess when it's that cold and you are sitting for two hours it's hard (even with a ton of socks on) to keep your feet warm. I'm SO glad we didn't let the cold keep us from going because we had a blast! The kids loved the marching bands, dance team, and tiny ponies the best. Oh...and in the last picture we were about to leave but saw the Chick Fil A float so we HAD to stay so Kinsey could see her 'bok, bok moo'! Sidenote: Kinsey no longer says cow or moo....when she sees a cow she says, "bok, bok, moo." I think maybe we should cut down on the CFA:).

NBC
Penn Holderness and Cailey learning all about
the green screen
the anchors, Bill Fitzgerald and Melanie Sanders
Cailey took a weather class in our co op this fall and they ended it with an AWESOME field trip! The kids went to NBC Studios for a tour from none other than the Wes Hohenstein, the weather man! (We don't watch the news so I honestly had no idea who the people were, but it was still cool!) They met the Penn Holderness, the sports guy, lots of producers, and the anchors for the six and seven o'clock news. Best of all they were allowed to sit in the studio and watch the LIVE 6:00 news!! The kids had to be very quiet and did a fabulous job. Cailey's FAVORITE part was being on camera. At one point Wes told her that she had to go back with everyone else because she kept sneaking to where she could be seen on camera...what a ham:)!!

shake, shake, shake HALLELUJAH!
Cailey had a 'mini' Kidz Praise concert last Sunday evening and was VERY excited to be singing on the stage into the microphones! She's looking forward to singing a full Christmas concert in a couple of weeks.
