We started school this past Monday for a week and then we'll have a week at the beach before continuing. The first week of school started out slow with adjustments, but by Wednesday everything seemed to flow wonderfully!

Braden is technically in Kindergarten but is doing first grade work. He is loving everything and doing great! Cailey is in second grade and has more on her load this year than last but has had a really great attitude about it. Kinsey is doing preschool and has mastered her colors, K, S, O, A, B, C, D, M, Z, and the number 1. She LOVES doing sign language with the other kiddos and listening to me read the History, Science, and Novel.

Phonics -The Ordinary Parent's Guide To Teaching Reading, Readers
Math- Right Start
Grammar- First Language Lessons
Copywork/Dictation
Writing- Just Write, Writing Letters
Handwriting- Zaner Bloser
Spelling- Spelling Workout
History- Story of the World
Science- Earth Science and Astronomy (Exploring Creation with Astronomy)
Art- Artistic Pursuits, Crafts (I'm setting aside time each week for crafts because otherwise they get lost in the shuffle and the kids LOVE them)
Music- Listening to Classical Music, Music Ace, Piano Lessons for Cailey
