"Pumpin Pash"

We were SO thankful that Daddy could come with us!!

our hay-less hayride! (i had an eye infection)

kinsey was SO excited about going to the
"pumpin pash"

They asked for a volunteer to come up and wear the bee costume
so they could show the different parts of the bee and Cailey
jumped right on it! NO other kid wanted to do it (and there
were a lot of kids). She was thrilled...this is SO Cailey! I'm
thankful she's so confident in front of groups because that's a huge
phobia of mine.

learning about bees

after learning that there were sunflower seeds inside
a sunflower i think kinsey was trying to eat it

attempts at a family pic...

cailey LOVES the orange jumping 'pillow'

so fun!

love this pic

poor guy had corn coming out of his ears:)!
(and loved every minute of it)

we love the corn pit!

this is the moment that Beth and i heard cailey
and harrison having a 'relationship' conversation
ending with, "can i be your girlfriend?" beth quickly
informed them both that there would be no girlfriends
until he could shave. (even though according to harrison
he's had four girlfriends already:) apparently they decided that if
they went to the same college then they would get married
and have four children. i asked cailey if she changed her mind
about having 8 kids and she said, "well, harrison said
that was too many and he's the husband so we agreed on four"
cailey has had her heart set on kellen for YEARS so this was
big news in the barbour house today:)!

these goats were eating out of the kids hands-
they were so excited!

Kinsey LOVED it!

always a favorite: the underground
slide

i just had to post these because she was so excited:)

because Braden is so light he was able to go FAR!

i've never seen a cow run. THIS cow ran when it saw
the kids running towards it! poor thing must have been
scared.

cailey searched and searched for
just the right pumpkin!

my strong man

my little pumpkins:)

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with our co op. We usually go as a family every year and so Daddy came along for a couple of hours. The kids learned about bees, sunflowers, and more! They truly had a wonderful day and had so many 'favorite' things that they did. Cailey announced that this was one of the best days EVER:).

it was so fun! hilarious about the relationship conversation. i wonder if he told her husbands make all the decisions and so she caved on the eight kids. he's kind of bossy. he's already told me that he's picked out his kid's names. i told him his wife might not like the names he's chosen but he seems confident that he'll be able to make her agree with him. i guess he doesn't know that when that "girl" comes along he'll be so smitten with her that she'll be naming kids and deciding how many...among other things he never thought he'd give in to! ha ha! :)
