He's OURS!!

Veggie Tales on TV with Korean subtitles

We went to pick Ephram up from SWS at 1:00 and everything went great. It was POURING rain and about 1/3 of a mile away but we managed to stay mostly dry. Mrs. Lee was so sweet and concerned about him being cold but we reassured her that we'd keep his coat on. We gave her presents and hugged goodbye after thanking her for taking such great care of Ephram. SWS gave him a Korean flag, book, and a couple other things that Kinsey and Braden got when they came home as well. Ephram has done GREAT and has been a happy boy all afternoon and evening.

Hanging out with Ephram in the hotel room

Tried out the pacifier...ended up playing with instead.

we were told he didn't suck his thumb but he found it right away
and went to sleep for a two hour nap! (I had to wake him at 5:15)

woke up happy!

first stroller ride...we called down and asked it we could
have a baby cot (thinking that it was a crib) and they brought
us a stroller instead. it worked out perfectly because we weren't sure
how easily it would be to carry him as far as we had to walk.

after dinner at TGIF we took Ephram to the aquarium

we thought this was strange!

sweet Ephram fell asleep

What we have here is a failure to communicate. We
wanted a picture with the city behind us but
instead ended up in front of the hotel sign.

Korean currency
10000 won = $8.60
5000 won = $4.30
1000 = 86 cents

Goodnight Moon

We had a WONDERFUL day...one that neither one of will forget. We were told that when we came here to pick him up we'd be so thankful and sorry that we didn't do it with the others. This is true. We can honestly say that it would be so neat to be able to tell Braden and Kinsey more about their foster mom and family. We are hoping for a GREAT trip on the plane tomorrow...PLEASE pray for that!! I am exhausted and Ephram (who hasn't cried ALL DAY) is starting to cry so I need to get off. We'll be up early and traveling all day tomorrow (Thursday in Korea) and will arrive Thursday in Raleigh. I think we'll be on Thursday for 36 hours or something. Thank you for praying...good night or good morning!

I love the nonchalantness (if that is a word) of the title. Just hanging around, getting our new son. You know, everyday normal kind of stuff! So happy for your family!
