Fun at Nonny and Poppy's

we played lots of games while we were there!

braden helped nonny with dinner
every day. i loved watching him by her
side soaking in everything.

ephram really started cruising while we were there.
we went to the library and the kids got some great new books
to read with me.

first time playing monopoly...we ran
out of time.

kinsey played games with nonny while the big kids played monopoly

the weather was BEAUTIFUL so the kiddos got to go to the park a few times!

eating snack and checking out poppy's garden

my boys

ephram LOVES macy and really fell in love with polly too.
polly was very tolerant and would let ephram grab her, hug her, and slow
her down. it was a great chance to learn the word, "gentle":) sometimes
polly was rewarded with a cracker or two from ephram.

they enjoyed watching poppy chip carve every evening

ephram LOVES when nonny feeds him. he learned a few new things while we were there too!

nonny sure did love feeding this guy!

brian discovered a nest of baby birds down low and we
were able to observe them until they left the nest!

hanging out with my girls

watching poppy carve some more

Brian's office shut down the week before the 4th so we were able to go as a family to Nonny and Poppy's house for 8 days! We had a great time going to the fun indoor pool (complete with high dives and slides), having boy/girl days, spending time with nonny and poppy, playing games, going on walks, hiking, observing baby birds, riding bikes, going to parks, walking the dogs, watching poppy carve, helping nonny bake, going to the movies, and reading books.

this picture makes me smile because they LOVED the jib jab
email that aunt leigh sent of all the grandkids and would ask
poppy to show them over and over all day!

we had SUPER brave kiddos on the slides and diving boards again this time! the most exciting news is that cailey was FINALLY able to go down the BIG slides this trip. you have to be 48 inches and she somehow was let on. (she's about and inch shy.) ephram went down slides with the kids and with brian and i and seemed to like them too.
