beach mornings our kiddos did something they never do...watched tv. people ask all the time how i keep them from wanting to watch it but honestly they don't even know there are shows on. the older kids watch a movie once a week or once every other week...and ephram's seen sesame street a few times to make schooling eaiser but honestly they've never asked or cared. each morning while brandon's mom was making breakfast the kids would one by one come out and sleepily move to the couch together in their jammies:)
We parked at the State Park nearby where they have neat programs for kids to learn about ocean life. I counted it as a school day after seeing how much they learned and they had so much fun trying to catch fish in the nets together.
the water was pretty rough which made for great boogie boarding and cailey tried to surf on the board after hearing we had watched soul surfer the night before. watching soul surfer and then going in the ocean the next day made me quite nervous...but there were no shark sightings while we were there:) all the people in the ocean in the picture were with us...it wasn't crowded at all which made it nice and easy to keep track of everyone!
cailey and daddy were both buried in the sand that day.
they lived only a couple houses away from the pool which was nice when we got home because the dads and kiddos would head right there for the afternoon while the babies napped.
