Braden's scout troop went camping and it finally didn't get rained out! The weather was gorgeous and since all of the campouts are 'family friendly' he took Ephram with him too. The first night after setting up camp they hung out with the other kids around the campfire.
Early the next morning the boys set out to fish and it was Braden's favorite part of the whole weekend! He's now asking for a fishing rod for Christmas:). He caught two fish and watched another boy catch a giant catfish which so exciting for him!
Ephram tried his hand at fishing too...but he was sad that they didn't
immediately come on his hook.
Ephram did a great job on his first 'camp up' and LOVED being with daddy and Braden.
He talked about it all week leading up to it then the week after. He just loved telling
us all about his camp up:).
Braden is a science lover and really enjoyed learning about different animal skins and seeing 'stuffed' bobcats, beavers, and a few others.
Braden and Brian found this scary looking spider and decided to feed it dinner. They had a ton of crickets left over and stuck his guy right to the middle of the web then watched as the spider approached, wrapped it up, and enjoyed dinner. YUCK! What a fun fun trip for the boys:).
