Ff is for fall!

Ff is for FALL! He did a great job using do a dots to make the top and colored so
nice on the trunk. For dinner he had fishsticks, french fries, and fruit:).

I won't post pictures of everything we do all week because most of the time I forget to take them but on day one we always start out by 'checking the mail' to see what letter has arrived. Now on Sundays Ephram will try and sneak into the homeschool room and peek at the new letter...and he'll ask starting on Saturdays. He LOVES our preschool time together!

This week he spent most of his time completely decked out as a firefighter!

Next we look at all of the words that begin with the letter and then do a calendar time before moving into all of the fun letter activities I have planned.
Fire truck puzzle..oh, and you can see the magnets that start with
Ff in the back. I hide these for him to find:).

We read read read the books of the week together pretty much everyday because that's one of his favorite things to do. He also practices tracing the letter on a white board and we sing 'cheers' and letter songs for each letter.

Throughout the week I have other cool things set up for him downstairs that go along with the letter of the week. I CONSTANTLY talk about things that start with that letter.

Ff is for fruit, four and five! He put fruit stickers on the numbers four and five
Ff is for feet and flowers!  Ephram loved putting flowers on the corresponding numbers of feet.
Ff is for farm! We did TONS of farm activities all week.

Ff is for fish! Sorting out fish from other sea creatures

Ff is for frog!  He was counting out mini frogs on these mats, playing with jumping frogs, and sorting frogs but size and color.

 Fishing game with mommy

 Frog letter tracing folder game
One of his FAVORITE activities was reading (and acting out) Five Little Monkey's Jumping on the Bed
 reading his many Ff books
Ff is for foot craft! This was super FUN for him:)

Ff is for fire!  I really take Ephram's lead on the crafts while we are looking at all the words that begin with the letter of the week.  What ever really interests him is the direction I go in. I'm also trying very hard not to repeat the same ones I made with Kinsey.  He LOVED being a firefighter most of the week so it went perfectly with our craft.  He did squirted out 'fire colors' of paint then I covered it with saran wrap. He fingerpainted and mixed the colors before putting his f in it. He also wanted to add firery feathers and firetrucks.

We had so much fun with Ff is for fall! We talked
about seasons, went on hunts for Ff objects, played "find the
farm animal", and had such a fun time!

Ff foods my boy had this week:
french fries (sweet potato), fajitas, fish, fruit, frosted flakes, fettuccine, fiber bar, fruit frappe, french toast, fudge pops, and funnel cake.
