Happy Gotcha Day Braden!!

Braden's gotcha day started bright and early with chocolate chip waffles before piano lessons and an eye appointment at Duke.

Since we were passing Chili's after his appointment I decided to surprise him with Chocolate Molten Lava cake as an early lunch. He was SO excited! I hadn't planned ahead of time or I would've brought the B plate. They sang "Happy Gotcha Day" to him when they brought it out. (We sing it to him all day long:). The other three shared one too.

My sweet sweet gotcha day boy! I remember him coming off the plane like it was yesterday. What a blessing you have been to our lives!

October 1 is always free cookie day at the mall so after spending lots of time playing Pente and the maze game we went and got a free cookie!

Braden's dinner request was steak and mushrooms...his favorite meal! We met the Klick's at Golden Corral for dinner where he could eat as many mushrooms as he wanted!  He ate a TON as the plate is bigger than a typical dinner plate.  He also loved eating MORE chocolate for dessert. The kids had so much sugar that they were definitely wired up but thankfully the restaurant was pretty empty:).

We love you, Braden! Happy 8th gotcha day!
