Kena!

We got to meet sweet Kena at the park one day...very briefly. She was PRECIOUS and it was great to spend time with Laura and fun that Jay, Ephram, and Carter could play together. Cailey was smitten with Kena the moment she saw her and sat down to play with her.

A little while later Cailey walked off to put Ephram in a swing and Kena followed after them CRYING because Cailey was leaving...it was PRECIOUS! She wanted nothing to do with me (sniff, sniff) but sure did LOVE Cailey. As a matter of fact, when it was time for us to leave she just cried and cried (and held her arm out) for Cailey. It was pitiful but SO very sweet. Cailey is so great with little ones and it was great to see how quickly Kena fell in love with her:).

Two blessings in my life. It was so great to watch Laura's entire adoption process unfold...from our first conversations at the pool about it until getting to meet her new little love! We can't wait to hang out with her MORE!
