Baltimore Aquarium

This was another GREAT field trip/homeschooling activity we did while we were on vacation in Maryland. Dad and I went into Baltimore with the three oldest to the aquarium while mom watched ephram (and spoiled him like crazy:)

This was by far the BEST aquarium the kiddos have been to and they were able to remember so many things from their Science last year (plus learn more)

we loved seeing how creative our God is!
this aquarium also had a rainforest section complete with sloths, a variety of birds, and monkeys that were just hanging around!

Our favorite part was the dolphin question/answer session and show. Oh we LOVED every second of it!

We weren't sure we were going to be able to see the show but were thrilled when we found out we could!

i mean...it was awesome for them to be able to see these guys up close and personal!

We went through the WHOLE thing and stayed at the giant shark tanks for quite a while. They had a huge variety of sharks that we hadn't even heard of before. Another highlight was watching the divers during feeding time. We were looking through a fish tank then literally saw flippered feet come into the water and start feeding the fish.  It was amazing...and there were a TON of divers making sure each one got their special kind of food.

Oh..we also saw puffins!
We sure had a great time at the aquarium!
I thought I should take a picture of this on the way out since it's kind of a big deal to baseball fans:)...right?
