Marbles

I took the kids to Marbles for Ephram's birthday. I knew he would love building with the wood and we hadn't been there in a long time. It was mostly for Ephram but the older kiddos found their favorites too:).  Cailey on the crutches...ALWAYS!

They had a new really neat farm section set up with pigs to feed, chickens to lay eggs, cows to milk, etc.

Ephram loved being a farmer and collecting all the vegetables. He got them from the garden and then found the corn in the stalks. After he got all the food together he spent almost and HOUR 'cooking' them in the kitchen area.

 They each planted lettuce

 water fun and boat races

 ahoy, matey!

and this is where he wanted to spend the rest of his time. He sawed, screwed, drilled, and did it over and over again. Ephram has so much fun here!

 STRONG braden lifting weights:)....AND dunking!

Trying out the hamster wheel.  And ephram was excited to see this GIANT connect four game.  He thought it was the funniest thing since it was taller than he was.

I didn't remember that Marbles isn't usually open on Mondays (though the thought did cross my mind) and this happened to be the FIRST Monday they were open!  They are trying family Mondays for the summer..no field trips, etc. so it's not crowded at all.  Ephram had such a fun time that I brought him (and Kinsey) again the next week while the older kids were at camp.

Afterwards we stopped by Krispy Kreme for birthday doughnuts...and a special drink that they shared.
