Cailey and I went on a date a couple weeks ago too! We walked 1.2 miles to Subway for dinner, ate, and then walked home. It was so nice to just be able to talk with my girl and listen to what's on her heart. I treasure the one on one time I get with all the kiddos because they are growing up so fast! Cailey and I shared a ham and cheese footlong (my half plain and hers with the works), sunchips, and she got some lemonade (i stuck to my favorite...water!) I surprised her on the way home by stopping in Food Lion and letting her pick out her favorite candy bar for dessert...3 Musketeers! Then we came home and hung out with the family in the front yard.
