Delivery Day!

The last day Laura stayed until after lunch and the kids played outside and played tons of games. Kelly called saying she wasn't feeling well so I told her to bring the kids over and go to the hospital with Brandon. So Laura and I had a house full but it was awesome! We went on a walk first thing to get some energy out and got a picture of 11 little monkeys sitting on a hill!

we had a two year old, three year old, a four year old, three five year olds, a six year old, a seven year old, an eight year old, and two nine year olds!

At lunch we figured out how many people it takes to eat an entire loaf of bread. 11. And we had 11 kids over so it worked out great! When it's nice out and we have SO many kids the easiest thing to do is send them outside to eat so that's what we did!

Kelly called to say that she was going to have baby Charlotte so the kids were going to get to stay all day! We prayed for her constantly and couldn't wait to hear the news. I had the kids guess what time she would be born. Charlotte was two weeks early and we were so excited to meet her!

Ephram and Carter took GREAT naps in the afternoon while the older kids played games and played outside. The power went out in the afternoon during a HUGE thunderstorm! Since I had no power to cook and it was storming (so we couldn't grill) Brian ordered pizza to feed our crew and they devoured it! Thankfully the storm passed and after an hour the power came back on. I had the kids doing contests while the lights were out so no one would be sad:). We had chain link contests to see who could build the longest one and cube contests...it was a super fun way to pass the time in candle light!

They also did lots of puzzles!

We got the call that Charlotte had been born (YAY!!) and everyone was healthy (YAY!!) so Brian brought the kids back later that evening. Whew! What a fun fun few days we had! 5/23/12
