Ephram's BIG dog party!

oldest and youngest before the party...and my favorite
thing in his goody bags...a cd of dog songs all personalized for
each of his buddies!

doggie cupcakes and cake...and all of his favorite doggies

Dog books! Ephram has been talking about a dog party for a LONG time...so of course I had to do it! The boys came in and I read them Ephram's favorite dog book, Go, Dog, Go. They were all very attentive!

Next up we headed outside to go on a dog and dog bone hunt. I cut dog bone shapes from cardboard then painted them white and numbered them 1-10. Each child was told to find a dog (plastic) and two dog bones for them to eat...they LOVED it! When they were all found I called out the numbers for them to help me put them in order. This was just a party for buddies his age and their mommies so it was a perfect activity for them.

then it was pin the dog bone on the doggies mouth! they loved this one too and couldn't wait for their turns to be blindfolded, spun around, and stick on paper bones I had cut out and written their names on. I drew the dog on a paper grocery bag and Ephram decided it needed a party hat (just like in Go, Dog, Go) so he did do a dots on paper then we cut it out.

the boys decorated party hats with dog stickers then went to dig up doggies that were buried in the sand box. There were LOTS of plastic doggies that they were able to find. Fun times.

There was dog music (from his cd's) playing in the background during the whole party. I filled up dog bowls with Reece Puff cereal (that literally looks like dog food) and scooby graham cracker dog bones. The grown ups got a kick out of how real it looked!

present time!! though ephram LOVES his doggies (and has a TON) he has recently really gotten interested in Super Heros and we have none. Braden was more interested in bugs, etc. back when he was three and we all know ephram is terrified of those! SO he racked up on superhero toys which was just what he wanted!! He's already told me that next year he wants a superhero party:). Gotta love a planner! What a blessing it was to have all these sweet boys at his birthday party. He missed his friend Jay (and literally kept asking about him) but we'll get to see him soon.

picture with a doggie...and on the steps.

Ephram had a great dog party!!
