Kinsey did her first triathlon this summer! She was so excited to be old enough and couldn't wait for the race. She had to swim a 50, bike two miles (TONS of hills) and then run 1/2 mile. We didn't really do much training so we weren't sure how it was going to go.
The first picture is her after the swim (which she did great on) then on her way out with her bike. As she was going up the first hill she FELL off her bike because the handle bars were turned around. She was SO brave and got back up to keep going. She completed the bike course and just had the run left.

She ran the entire time:)!! Her siblings ran along with her for
encouragement too!
After the race I discovered that her fall off the bike was worse than I thought. Poor girl was dripping blood but finished the race anyways! We are SO proud of you, Kinsey!
She loved it and already wants to do another one:)!
