Thank you for lifting my boy's spirits with cards of encouragement and sweet gifts. He got so much mail every couple of days and would smile HUGE when the mailman pulled up. The most AMAZING part is that he got more mail from people he's never met than from people he knows! BLESSING!
Since he's been sick (and camping) we actually stopped giving him the drops because there was no way to store them at camp. As soon as he got back he was throwing up or sleeping constantly and it just wasn't happening. Braden was too sick to go to the dr. on Monday but went today.
Apparently we shouldn't have stopped the steroids cold turkey. Oops. Which, when I heard, I totally remembered from all my poison ivy steroids. Thankfully his eye hasn't gotten worse. We got a prescription for a lower dose steroid and he'll use that several times a day for the next two weeks. TWO WEEKS! No trip to Duke for two weeks is awesome! I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and praying still, that is doesn't come back once he's off the drops!

I loved reading all your posts about your trip to CA. We've been all those places, some more than once & we love them.
Hope Braden's eyes are doing much better!
