We had 12 straight days without sunshine. At all. So when we woke up to go to church on Sunday and the SUN was shining I knew we had to get some fun outside time afterwards! We headed to the pumpkin patch and soaked in the Vitamin D. The weather was cool but sunny, which means perfect to me!
This year we headed back to an old favorite...Hill Ridge Farms! And boy had they added some things since the last time we were here!

my fav...the corn crib! i could have stayed in there longer...I find it hilarious and relaxing.
Ephram was making cornbread.
One of the new things was this giant hay 'crib'. The kids loved jumping from bale to bale and throwing hay on each other.
And running up and down these giant bales!
another first was watching the animal races! we saw pigs, ducks, and goat races. it was super cute.
after hours of fun we went on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch.
they were in search of just the right one
and were happy with their choices. it was such a GREAT family day together! church, pumpkin patch, and a quick trip home before church again.
