Make New Friends

 Kinsey talked about her friend Audrey at New Life Camp every week when I'd pick her up after her Thursday classes. I mean EVERY week. She wanted me to meet her and her mom. She wanted to have a playdate with her. Kinsey hadn't ever been like this before and I was definitely intrigued. One day I was finally able to meet her mom (usually Audrey was picked up hours after Kinsey which is why our paths never crossed) and we started talking and comparing stories our daughters came home with about their immediate bond.

These two are very much alike in so many ways!! They both love gymnastics, playing outside, playing with dolls for a little while before going back outside again, love crafts (in between playing outside)...they are two peas in a pod.

Our families also had connections that we didn't realize. Cailey is good friends with Audrey's cousins..and I'm friends with their mom. They go to the Summit too..and homeschool. Cailey knows her brother and he's one of the kids who is going on the DR mission trip, so it was super neat to have so much in common with the Barnett's.

That day Kinsey went home for a playdate with her then the next day Audrey came over for her first sleepover...EVER!  The girls had a great time making loom bands, doing gymnastics, playing outside, jumping on the trampoline, etc.

 Cailey and I let the girls play beauty shop and polish our nails (after we polished theirs) They LOVED it!

Sweet girls ready for a movie with their popcorn. They are great for each other because as soon as their heads hit the pillow they were OUT. Exciting to see new friendships form.
